The Sevtolhal decided that since the Mortals were currently losing a long war of attrition against the Aboriginals (or Sreoth), they would help the mortals defeat the Sreoth and then rule over the Mortals. In this way the Mortals would become the surrogates of the Sevtolhal. Through the Mortals the Sevtolhal could ensure their own survival and thus remove themselves from the Sreoth and any other unforeseen dangers.

With the Sreoth defeated and no longer a threat the Sevtolhal reasoned that all of Existence would be in their control. They would rule over the Mortals and the Mortals would act as their implement building a new Realm that would eventually equal the Continuum.

The only thing left for the Sevtolhal was to make contact with the Mortals and establish their power over them.
