- Eptih is the son of Velid and Othamar.
- He is 8' tall
- He is the twin brother of Rhosrc.
- He was nearly killed at birth by his father when his throat was slit and he was tossed into the Great Chasm.
- He was rescued from certain death by his mother who risked her own life to save him.
- His mother escaped with him to the town of her birth.
- Thiaraceph became his step father and they did not get along from the first.
- His uncle was Thmascuid, and he considered him his only true father figure.
- He was trainned in the war arts secretly by Thmascuid so as to avoid the Velidian laws against such practices.
- Eptih used a wooden sword during his training, which was called "Woroslin".
